Shipping executive keynotes MPC-Naga's 42nd Commencement Exercises

Naga City Ė Philippines Transmarine Carriers Inc.ís Assistant Vice President for Crewing Operations-Off Shore Division - Engr. Petercon A. Lugue honored the members of the graduating batch of 2016 as the schoolís commencement speaker at the 42nd graduation exercises at the Mariners Polytechnic Colleges (MPC) this City.

Philippines Transmarine Carriers Inc.ís Assistant Vice President for Crewing Operations-Off Shore Division - Engr. Petercon A. Lugue was MPC-Nagaís Commencement Speaker at 42nd Graduation Exercises.

He addressed the 276 members of the graduating batch as he shared his vast experience, achievements and the opportunities that abound for the graduates, not only in domestic shipping firms but also in cruise, cargo or bulk carriers ships operating worldwide.

Engr. Lugue holds the top position at the Philippine Transmarine Carriers which is one of the largest crew management companies in the country today with partner-principals across Asia, Europe and North America.

He is a graduate of the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (Batch 1989), having earned the degree in Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation. He holds a Masterís Degree in Shipping Business Management which he finished in 2002.

At the graduation ceremonies, he was introduced by CEO/President Dr. Marilissa J. Ampuan. The graduates are grateful for his message which gave them hope to pursue the careers which they have chosen as students of Mariners Polytechnic Colleges.
